Murray Crawford - Director

Murray was admitted to practice law in 1987.  With a strong social conscience and a passion for the law, Murray embodies the image of a strong advocate who is highly skilled and focused on achieving the best possible outcomes for all his clients.

Murray initially worked as a property and commercial law solicitor in private practice.  With highly effective communication skills and a strong knowledge of the law, Murray was attracted to teaching the business people of tomorrow in the areas of business and taxation law, and worked at both Monash University and the University of Southern Queensland.  By 2001, Murray Crawford had achieved many of the goals he had set himself in academia, and launched his own legal firm specialising in providing clients with exceptional customer service and strong advocacy.  MG Crawford and Co focused on conveyancing, property, business, and wills.

In 2007, Murray expanded his business through the purchase of iconic Toowoomba legal firm Laherty and O’Sullivan.  The merger saw the creation of Crawford, Laherty & O’Sullivan, now known as CLO Lawyers.  This broadened the firm’s work to take in estate and commercial litigation.

With a strong belief in ongoing professional development and education, Murray expanded his skills in the area of family law with a special focus on property settlements.  He is currently completing a Masters in Applied Family Law. Murray now supports clients in the area of property law, conveyancing, family law, parenting matters, and property settlements.

Murray strongly believes in supporting the community, and has held positions on several not-for-profit organisations.
