Asset Transfers

Asset Transfers refer to the change of ownership from one person (or entity) to another.  The change can involve an exchange of funds in payment for the transfer, or an exchange of assets of same or similar value, or the gifting of the asset.

Many transfers will involve some form of contract whilst others may simply involve a more basic written agreement.

Each circumstance is different and the legal requirements for each type of transaction will vary.  As such, it is important to obtain appropriate legal advice from CLO Lawyers prior to initiating the transfer of ownership to ensure your legal rights are protected.
